“Oh, what a day. What a lovely day!” - Nux
It has been 7 years since mankind’s existence was nearly wiped out. Across a post apocalyptic landscape lies the ruins of man’s many achievements. Skyscrapers lie in ruin, bridges lead to certain death in the rubble below, statues and monuments crumbled and unrecognizable. Much of the earth appears desolate with no signs of life…only vast expanses of nuclear scorched earth. There are however isolated areas where mother nature has begun to reclaim the land. These areas show signs of life and a hope that the world may someday return to a fragment of what it once was. One such beacon of hope is the Denland Territory. What is left of mankind however still shows the ugly traits of what destroyed the land in the first place. Factions of marauders, scavengers, and ex-military groups have descended on the Denland Territory in hopes that they will gain control of the promising landscape. There is one group however that seems to have a foothold in Denland and control the majority of it’s invaluable resources such as H2O and Guzzalene a form of fuel used to ignite fire in the bellies of the war vehicles used to control the land. These resources are highly sought after and contested. Within the past year many of the new factions that descended on Denland have grown weary of life controlled by the War Boys. This has driven many of the small factions to form alliances creating 2 larger more powerful groups called The Main Force Patrol (MFP) and a group that calls itself the Acolytes. These groups have grown large enough to contest the War Boys for control of the Denland Territory but they do not see eye to eye with one another. The landscape has been somewhat serene for the previous 11 months but many believe the silence is about to be shattered with the emergence of these two forces. Who will rise to the top and secure control of the Denland territory? Will it be the MFP led by former military men, or will the Acolytes led by savages who have been shaped by the scorched lands from which they came rise to power?
